Light: Bright indirect light to full sun. This is a succulent and it thrives in high light and warmth.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry completely before watering. Water slowly and evenly until water comes out of the drainage hole; discard excess to avoid root rot. Water less frequently in the winter and more in the summer.

Humidity: Dry air to average home humidity.

Toxicity: Non-toxic to cats, dogs and humans.

Potting Medium: Fast-draining and fast-drying. A cactus/succulent mix is perfect for this plant.

Additional Care: The leaves are plump when it has enough water and will shrivel when it gets too dry. Because the leaves hold water, this plant can get heavy and the leaves are easily knocked off. Because of this, a Burros Tail is best kept in a hanging container that won’t get bumped.
