Emerald Ripple Peperomia

The Emerald Ripple Peperomia (Peperomia caperata) is a stunning plant native to Central and South America. Indoors they will grow up to 8 inches tall and wide. The leaves are dark green, heart shaped and deeply puckered. They come off the plant on pink stems and have thin cream colored flower stalks. Peperomia are a beautiful easy-to-care for plant perfect for a desk or smaller space.

Light: low light tolerant but prefers medium to bright indirect light

Water: allow the top 1 inch of soil to dry before watering. Water slowly and evenly; discard excess to avoid root rot.

Humidity: average home humidity to high humidity

Toxicity: non-toxic to cats, dogs and humans

Potting Mix: fast draining

Additional Care: may become leggy if it doesn’t receive enough light. Try to avoid getting the leaves wet by bottom watering the plant. Prune to encourage growth and maintain shape. Prefers to be slightly pot bound.
